Intellectual Rebellion against the Machine: Designing an Educational Framework for Resistance and Critical Thinking in the Age of ChatGPT

چکیده :

In the current era, generative artificial intelligence (e.g., ChatGPT) has challenged educational systems with fundamental issues such as academic dishonesty, the perpetuation of algorithmic biases, and threats to learners' intellectual agency. However, existing research responses have predominantly focused on the integration and instrumental use of this technology, leaving a significant theoretical and practical gap in teaching critical skills for actively resisting and critiquing it. This study aims to address this gap by designing and validating an innovative educational framework termed "Critical AI Counter-Literacy." Findings from expert interviews and the Delphi method identified key components of this framework (including detecting hallucinations, analyzing biases, and preserving human agency) and proposed an instructional model. Results from a quasi-experimental study indicated that training based on this framework significantly enhanced students' critical self-efficacy and their ability to identify biases and produce independent written work. This research proposes a paradigm shift from "passive acceptance" to "active and critical engagement" with AI.
